Lauren Santo Domingo apartment in Paris

Lauren Santo Domingo is a Vogue editor and a businesswoman. She is 36 years old and she lives with her growing family in Paris. She grew up in Greenwich, Connecticut and she always wanted to leave and travel around the world.
Her love for Paris started when her father, then a chief executive at Perrier, took her along with him to France fro business trip. The funny thing is that her father hated France and as a rebellious woman she started loving France and the French.
While she was a history major at USC, Lauren spent her Junior year aboard in France. She studies at the Sorbonne and lived in a tiny decorated studio on the Avenue Bosquet.
After finishing college she moved to France and decided that Fashion was her destiny. By that time she met her husband, Andres. Fourteen years later she is pregnant with her second child living in her glamorous apartment in Paris.

Lauren Santo Domingo duplex has airy, spacious rooms for her (growing!) family, a wealth of lovingly preserved detail - and a terrace to die for!

The terrace, brimming with purple salvia, bay, jasmine and roses was designed by landscape architecture Madison Cox.

Legendary decorator Francois Catroux preserved the apartment's 18th-century boiserie and plasterwork and stained the parquet floors.

Man Ray's Image a Deux Faces (1959) and a custome Catroux furnishings fill the understated bedroom.

Linen curtains from Pierre Frey and spiky sculptures by Curtis Jere accent the entrance hall.

Open in Ultramarine with White (1973), by Robert Motherwell, anchors the drawing room.

Painting by Ian Davenport.

Luis XVI dining chairs surround a table designed by Catroux in the 1970s that converts into a bar for parties.

An Herve Van Straeten chandelier, chrome coffee tables from Michael Boyer and a 1960s wavelike console found at a Christian Sapet lend drama to the expensive drawing room, which is accepted by grisailles of country scenes.

The library table is by India Mahdavi and the painting is L'Offrande (1950).
